PRIVACY NOTICE

1. What this notice covers

This notice describes the DirtBusters commercial cleaning website and the initial enquiries you choose to make through its email and telephone links. “DirtBusters” refers to DirtBusters Professional Inc., based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. Arrangements for carrying out cleaning services are agreed separately with your business.

2. Information in your request

You may provide your name, work email address, company name, facility type, city or area, selected cleaning priorities, and optional frequency or site notes. The purpose of these details is to understand your commercial cleaning needs, respond to your enquiry, and prepare or discuss a proposal.

While you complete the request builder, its fields and draft are processed in the open page. The website does not send those field values to a form server or save them in cookies or browser storage. Your own browser may retain or autofill form information according to your browser settings.

Selecting “Open proposal email” passes the prepared subject and message to the email application you choose. That application may store or sync a draft under its own settings and privacy policy. DirtBusters receives the message when you send it. Selecting “Copy message” places the draft on your device’s clipboard; it does not send an email.

You can also email or call DirtBusters directly. Provide only information relevant to your request. Building entry codes, passwords, payment-card details, and other confidential access information are not required by this website.

3. Browsing information and cookies

Your browser sends ordinary technical information when it requests a web page, such as an IP address, requested file, browser information, and request time. The hosting service may record technical logs for delivery, security, and troubleshooting. These requests are separate from the contents of the enquiry builder.

Fonts and images are served with the site. The motion, service and enquiry controls work without optional analytics. No advertising pixels, embedded advertising or social-media tracking widgets are enabled.

Current analytics status: Optional analytics requires your permission. The site does not load Google Analytics without it.

Essential preference storage. When you choose “Essential only” or allow available analytics, the site stores your choice, its expiry and the applicable configuration version in local storage under dirtbusters.privacy.v2. The preference lasts up to 180 days unless you change it or clear browser data. It contains no enquiry details, and the website does not send this preference record to a server. If browser storage is blocked, your choice applies to the current page and may be requested again. Closing the notice with Escape does not grant analytics permission.

Optional Google Analytics. When configured, the notice offers “Allow analytics” and “Essential only”. Analytics stays off until you choose to allow it. Its purpose is to understand page visits and improve the website. Google may receive technical information such as your IP address, browser and device information, visit time, the page viewed and cookie identifiers. Our page-view configuration excludes URL query strings, fragments, enquiry fields and prepared email contents. Advertising consent, Google Signals and advertising personalisation are disabled.

When allowed, Analytics may set first-party cookies such as db_ga and a property-specific db_ga_… cookie to distinguish visits and sessions. They are limited to this website’s hostname and configured to expire within 180 days of being set. Analytics is not required to browse, call, email or prepare an enquiry.

Use “Cookie preferences” in the footer at any time. Choosing “Essential only” withdraws analytics permission, disables further analytics collection on the page and removes this site’s Analytics cookies accessible to the website. It does not delete data already received by Google or correspondence you have sent. If we activate Analytics after an earlier visit or materially change its configuration, we ask for a fresh choice before loading it.

4. Email, hosting, and other providers

The current website is hosted by Netlify, which processes ordinary web requests and may keep technical logs for service delivery, security and troubleshooting. See Netlify’s privacy information (opens a new tab).

If you allow configured Google Analytics, Google processes the analytics information described above and may process it outside Canada. See Google’s Privacy Policy (opens a new tab) and how Google uses information from partner sites (opens a new tab).

Sending an enquiry involves your email provider and the business email service receiving your message. Website hosting and email providers may process technical information or correspondence in the locations where they operate, which may include locations outside Canada. Their processing is subject to their applicable terms and the laws of those locations.

Contact DirtBusters if you need information about the providers used for a particular enquiry before sending it. This notice describes the enquiry and browsing functions currently available. A change to those functions will be accompanied by updated privacy information where it affects how information is handled.

Links to other websites open services with their own privacy practices. Review those practices when you choose to follow a link.

5. Use and retention of correspondence

There is no enquiry database on this website. A message you send becomes part of email correspondence. How long that correspondence is needed depends on whether it is being used to answer your enquiry, follow up on a requested proposal, document agreed services, or meet applicable legal requirements. Contact DirtBusters for the retention arrangements relevant to your correspondence.

This website does not subscribe you to a mailing list or request permission for unrelated marketing. You can ask DirtBusters about the information held in connection with your enquiry, its use, and the applicable retention arrangements.

6. Your choices and privacy requests

You choose whether to send an enquiry and how much relevant information to include. You may request access to or correction of personal information associated with your enquiry, ask about its use or disclosure, or ask to withdraw consent or delete information, subject to applicable legal and contractual requirements.

To make a request or raise a concern, email info@dirtbusterspro.com with “Privacy request” in the subject, or call (647) 705-2099. Explain your request and provide enough detail to locate the relevant correspondence. Reasonable identity verification may be needed before information can be released or changed.

You may also contact the privacy regulator responsible for your jurisdiction. The Office of the Privacy Commissioner of Canada (opens a new tab) provides information about Canadian privacy rights and regulatory responsibilities.

7. Updates to this notice

The date above identifies this version. Material changes to website data handling will be explained before the changed collection or use takes place. Existing correspondence and any separate service agreement remain subject to applicable requirements.
